Barbara Orstein, Executive Director
With over 25 years in the disability field as a rehabilitation counselor in the private sector, Barbara joined PCIL in 2006. Barbara has an Associate's Degree in Education from Harrisburg Area Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Shippensburg University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Certified Case Manager.
Barbara resides in Mechanicsburg with her trusted companion and PCIL mascot, Molly. Barbara has four daughters-Jennifer, Alison, Andrea and Jessica. She enjoys reading, quilting, supporting the military, traveling and visiting with her children and grandkids.
Peg Stoops, Office Assistant
Peg joined PCIL in 2010 after seven years as office manager and accounting clerk for the Pennsylvania Beef Council. She worked as accounting clerk for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Santa Rosa, California for seven years. Peg graduated with honors from The College of Wooster with a major in history.
Peg lives outside Middletown on the farm she grew up on. She moved back from California in 2000 to be closer to parents and siblings. She enjoys visiting her three children: Duncan, Carol and Noelle, and their families. She also enjoys reading, singing with the Harrisburg Choral Society, and volunteering on a warm line.
