The schedule is subject to change. The Senate schedule is expected to be similar. The General Assembly will receive the Governor's proposed 2002-03 Budget on February 5. Appropriations hearings in the House and Senate will be held from mid-February through early March. For a schedule of those hearings, which are in Harrisburg and open to the public, contact the PIE office.

Election Schedule
In the upcoming election we will be selecting a new Governor, all of our State Representatives and Congressional Representatives and half of our State Senators.

• The last day to register to vote before the primary is April 22.
• The primary election is May 21.
• The last day to register to vote before the general election is October 7.
• The general election is November 6.
